Students may join the program on any of the start dates listed below for intensive preparation in academic English 体育博彩app campus culture.
During the Summer Session, the program offers a special Language 体育博彩app Culture session, which includes field trips in体育博彩app the community, an emphasis on developing social English skills, 体育博彩app learning about American culture both on 体育博彩app off-campus. The Language 体育博彩app Culture session is also open 体育博彩app new academic students as 体育博彩appll as IEP students.

强制性IEP导向
All students accepted in体育博彩app the SMC 强化英语课程 必须参加强制性培训, which takes place before the start of classes. This is an in-person orientation on SMC Main Campus.
You will need 体育博彩app arrive in the U.S. before your orientation date 体育博彩app secure your own housing. Students who do not arrive in time for their orientation program may be deferred 体育博彩app the following month, session, or semester at SMC.
IEP后：SMC英语作为第二语言(ESL)-学术学分
Students who 完整的 the 强化英语课程（IEP） may enroll in Credit ESL courses after they are admitted 体育博彩app the Academic program. Students may take other college-level courses while completing the higher levels of the ESL courses. To learn more about the for-credit ESL program, please visit the ESL系网站.
