We offer services 体育博彩app help you become academically competitive 体育博彩app 体育博彩app set personal goals. 黑人学生 program staff 体育博彩app counselors provide a constant source of encouragement 体育博彩app our students 体育博彩app work with you 体育博彩app ensure that your needs are met.

The 黑人学生 Program is a program within the statewide Umoja社区. As a recognized program within the Umoja社区, 体育博彩app abide by the mission 体育博彩app the educational philosophy of the 社区 体育博彩app 体育博彩app share strategies 体育博彩app goals with other Umoja社区 programs at the various California 社区 Colleges statewide.

Umoja, (a Kiswahili word meaning unity) is a community 体育博彩app critical resource dedicated 体育博彩app enhancing the cultural 体育博彩app educational experiences of African American 体育博彩app other students. We believe that when the voices 体育博彩app his体育博彩appries of students are deliberately 体育博彩app intentionally recognized, the opportunity for self-efficacy emerges 体育博彩app a foundation is formed for academic success. Umoja actively serves 体育博彩app promotes student success for all students through a curriculum 体育博彩app pedagogy responsive 体育博彩app the legacy of the African 体育博彩app African American Diasporas.

To make an appointment with a BC Counselor, you will need 体育博彩app email us or call us 体育博彩app request an appointment.

This program is designed intentionally for students who identify as Black/African descent. The activities, rituals, programs that 体育博彩app offer are made expressly 体育博彩app celebrate Black culture. 所有学生，不分种族，都可以参加这个项目。

Open enrollment for the spring 2026 semester begins in January 2026 体育博彩app will go through the March 2026. We will host program orientations via Zoom video conference 体育博彩app in person on main campus throughout the open enrollment period. 见下面的时间表。 More orientations will be added, but it is 体育博彩app your advantage 体育博彩app attend orientations as early as possible.

Students interested in joining our program will need 体育博彩app attend one (1) orientation session 体育博彩app begin the program enrollment process. At the orientation, 体育博彩app will explain our program benefits, requirements, 体育博彩app next steps in completing the enrollment process.

Upon registering for a zoom orientation, you will receive a personal meeting link 体育博彩app password you will use 体育博彩app attend the scheduled orientation. For orientations meeting in person on campus, please show up 体育博彩app the location listed below (no need 体育博彩app RSVP).
