Presidents signing the Commitment are pledging 体育博彩app eliminate their campuses’ greenhouse gas emissions over time. In accordance with the 承诺, thus far, SMC has completed the following steps in effort 体育博彩app reduce its carbon footprint:

Following the lead set by the SMC Associated Students in 2010, the SMC Board of Trustees passed Board Policy 2480 Zero Waste 事件.

Zero Waste includes recycling but goes beyond recycling by taking a whole system approach 体育博彩app the vast flow of resources 体育博彩app waste through human society. Zero Waste maximizes recycling, minimizes waste, reduces consumption 体育博彩app ensures that products are made 体育博彩app be reused, repaired or recycled back in体育博彩app nature or the marketplace.
